Motorola Renegade V950

I know this is an older phone but I love it. I'm trying to find out if there is a SIM card in it and where would I find it?

front display

if you are having the problem of your front display not turning off, turn the main display to not always on and it will correct this problem.

Ringtones & Wallpapers

Does anyone know if there is any program that can help make ring tones & wallpapers for the Renegade? Ive always had nextel and used the webjal program to make my own stuff. So does anyone know if the same program could be used on the renegade phone. Any help will be much appreciated. Mahalos!

Vibrate Pattern

Anyone else having trouble changing the vibrate pattern? No matter what setting I use on this, I can't not get it to stop vibrating!

I have the "Vibe Dot" pattern selected for texts, but this phone insists on vibrating not stop until I acknowledge the message.

Any suggestions?

So this is a D/C phone?

I have a ic502 which I use for the Nextel WT. Could I swap my simcard into the V950 and still have DC? Or is it something different? I'm not exactly sure what this whole qchat deal is...

Instinct UI Question

So the "home" screen on the m800 Instinct is just the menu, like the iPhone? So the user CANNOT apply any sort of wall paper, let alone change the color of the UI itself.

I'm really wondering why Sprint was so afraid to include the Samsung TouchWIZ UI that just launched in Korea. Now that would have been really innovative compared to this bug-ridden build from the ground up (WHY??) fisher-price looking user interface.

It is my opinion that they should have let Samsung design the UI themselves, not outsource it to a 3rd party company. BAD idea.
