Samsung SCH-R500 Hue

i dont kno how to activate my speaker phone--i can find it listed in the icon section but dont know how to activate it-thanks Rosalie

What is the GB limit of memory cards for this phone? thanks

My Samsung Hue(R500) has been invincible except that now it gets absolutely no service. Everything else works but it says searching for service constantly? Has anyone else had this problem. I took it to alltel but didn't have a warranty so... you know how that goes.

Is there any way that I can use my own mp3s as ringtones? I know it can't be done the easy way but was just wondering if there was some back door way to get around this problem with software or something like that.

Man, the dialing font on this phone is way too big. How can I get it to settle down into something more normal. The only thing I found was dialing font size zoom enable or disable. Nothing changes either way...

I'm migrating from an AT&T blackberry pearl(switching jobs) and am trying to transfer my contacts.

When I try to send my address book over to the Hue, only the first contact goes through. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the entire address book over at once?

I started deleting the first entry and transferring again, but that's going to take forever.

I was able to transfer my entire address book to my computer at once, but when I tried to send them to the Hue, only one entry went through. The computer is also not sending all of the numbers through (or the Hue isn't accepting them), so I'm back to a phone-to-phone transfer.

Any help would be appreciated, even if it's just confirming that I have to send each entry o...

ok so yea i have it on t9 and everything but usually when you try to spell a word that a phone doesnt recognize it lets you spell it then save it so when you want to use that word again you can use it cause it saved it. for instance it doesnt recognize the word pissed, i have to put it in abc mode and spell it out the long way...is there a way to get it to recognize words like people names....cause i cant stand abc mode and spelling it letter by letter. also it doesnt recognize my name Lindsey....This is so frustratin!!! HELP

I'm within my 15 day trial period with Alltel and have been disappointed with the battery life of this phone.

We live in a rural area in Missouri on the fringe of Alltel's service area. I selected the phone because it was reputed to have good call quality and the ability to pull in weak signals. I believe that it does...we actually can use the phone inside our house, whereas with AT&T we could not. However, I got less than 24 hours battery life with the phone. I only made a few brief phone calls, no texting, no internet, and only a couple of photos.

When I talked to my service rep she said that we probably won't get great battery life with any phone because of the area we live in. The battery is being drained because the phone is work...

Hello, I am currently shopping for a new phone and had some questions about the Hue. Does the Mp3 player work while the phone is closed, can you view the tracks for the external display and control the volume and tracks when it is closed?

I appreciate any help anyone can lend.

I have a customer that has been in half a dozen times with his r500 that he has been having problems with his tethering, it keeps booting him off after a few 5-6 mins, and it sounds like when it boots him off it powers off the phone? any ideas? the phone has the latest software in it.

Can someone please tell me if the external screen stays illuminated all the time or does it go blank after a few seconds?

I'm not really a phone expert and I've been reading a lot about different phones (I'm getting my first one) and I want to make the right choice

I've narrowed it down to these two. (LG wave and Samsung Hue)

I have been looking at them on the 'compare phones' page but I would like a personal response

Also, if you think I've made the wrong choice completely please let me know as well

What format do videos have to be in to play on the hue?

Can you use your own MP3s as ringtones? Can you transfer contacts/files to/from the phone via Bluetooth? Does it support Bluetooth DUN?
Can you set it up so that it has a low ring volume but still vibrates?

It changes different backlight "Hues", just like the sch-a330 of yesteryear.

I didn't know there was a new phone on the list but when I loaded the Phone Scoop home page, I instantly saw it. It will be a head turner!
