bluetooth usability on 710

Anyone know if you can use bluetooth, and what else is needed to:
1) transfer entire contact lists from Outlook or other PIM
2) transfer MP3 files

I have a v710 phone and access to several software products, including Starfish Truesync and Cadenza, with PIMS including Palm Desktop, Truesync, Outlook, and Lotus Notes. My home PCs are win98 still.

I'm trying to decide whether to buy a bluetooth adapter for a pc, and/or a cable, and/or a transflash card & SD-USB adapter

Thanks!

You need Mobile PhoneTools and a USB cable, part #98571, and in my limited experience, that does phonebooks but not files or images.

Bluetooth doesn't work with the 710 at all--the following note is on the Motorola product description for item #98575 (PhoneTools with Bluetooth):

"NOTE: Currently, the Motorola V710 phone distributed in North America supports Mobile Phone Tools only through a USB cable connection. A solution to support Mobile Phone Tools over a Bluetooth connection should be available later this year."

hey dude, your v710 bluetooth works only with headsets or handsfree, if you want to transfer picts and files you need a trans flash card with sd adapter, to sync you need the motorola cable, that's it
