5-They charge for MPT (almost everyone else gives their sync software free).
6-They even charge for the USB cable.
7-MPT is a fantastically buggy piece of software. When it doesn't crash, it corrupts your Outlook data.
8-It's the only phone that loses Bluetooth signal when the headset is 1 foot away.
9-When every other phone loses signal once on a given trip, Motorola loses it all of 15 times.

5- The carrier charges for MPT. Motorola included it in my unlocked phone. But then again I use an OS with built in sync capabilities so I don't need MPT.

6- Your carrier charges for the USB cable to reduce the cost of the phone itself. You can't blame Motorola for your carrier being cheap and repackaging the phone without the cable.

7- Hmm.... can't argue there... I don't use MPT. But Outlook isn't exactly bug free either.

8- Never had issues with BT connection on my Moto phones. Could it be your headset? I use mine 10-15 feet away on a daily basis for voice and file transfer and have yet to drop a connection. I've even used it for dialup via BT with no problems.

1- Yes you can. Ask your Cell provider why they turned it off.

2- I find the standard interface very easy to use. Unlike the 'unified verizon interface'

3- Never had the old ones break and I don't see what's wrong with mini USB on the new phones.

4- Depends on the phone. 256mb is more than enough for me on my V3i

well bennyboy you couldn't be further from the truth. The v3i rings and vibes, the menus are easy and believe me i have had and used and use many different phones, never had a problem with any of my chargers including car chargers for any of my motos, the menus are not slow - try using the nokia 6265 then you'll no what your talking about when it comes to slow but yip the memory could be improved on. I guess thats why they upgraded the v3 to the v3i. I helps a little. 😎
