Motorola C139 Backlight timing

I have a C139 and I can not adjust the backlight timing, 20 seconds is the maximum and it is not enough for me.
the worst is that I can not read what is displayed when it is off...

I have the same problem. The help center suggested I go to the store and see if they can figure out how to keep the dial lit longer. I'll report back if I get any answers.
