v551 housings and how to install them?

This week I got a v551 phone and I want to put a housing on to replace the original housing. I see them being sold on ebay and they say the housings will fit v551. I'm wondering how to install these housings.

If anyone has installed one of these housings, please explain how to install these housings.

First off, it voids warranty.

Secondly, go get a box cutter (or very thin blade) and a torx #6 screwdriver.

There are four screws in each half of the body. Use the box cutter to "pop" the catches on the two halves so they come apart. Aftermarket faceplates my decrease your reception and audibility, so be prepared for that.

If you can't find the screws or figure out how to swap housings from there, you probably shouldn't mess with it. Motorolas all unplug easily so there's no saudering to be done, and should be very easy for you to do.
