Does this phone come in a cingular box with a charger and everything?

It's based off the Nokia 6255, and has the same FCC ID since both phones have same hardware, just differnet firmware.

Music Player was removed, but Infrared is still there, and all bluetooth profiles are intact. Rumors also say Java is still intact though I haven't seen it. This is Verizon's first phone with uncrippled Bluetooth, and it's going to be carried by both indirects and the Nokia 6256i.

I've also sent corrections for a few hones last week but I've not heard anything about it.

I wanna know what is going on with phonescoop lately. Under the new phones section they have been lagging behind when compared to other sites. Howardforums has the Samsung a630 the a850, and the a950 listed as well as the LG VX9800.

I know the a630 is on this site, but where is the a850, the a950 or the 9800?? The a850 is due to replace the a670 when it sells out and the 9800 is supposed to have a release date of 9/26. The a950 is supposed to be coming out around the same time as the a970 according to reliable sources on howardforums. I find myself going to this site less and less. 😢

Just posted a phone review and found it frustrating that if I forgot to fill in subject headline or if I accidentally went beyond character limit, an ERROR message appears. There is not an option to return to draft, and when I press the back button on my browser, entire draft has disappeared.

Took three times to post a successful review - first time went over character limit, second time forgot to fill in subject bar. Each time had to first re-log in (where it said draft had been stored) and then received error message with no way to return to saved draft.

I am using firefox. Could that be the problem?

thanks for the e911 piece. it was very useful and informative. I am currently doing additional research on the status locally in Colorado. I may in fact be able to get coverage in a prominant local weekly newspaper.

You mentioned that some of the funds have been diverted from psap development. I had contacted the local NENA chapter president and she says not in CO. she stated they have received all money they were supposed to. According to her the funds are distributed via a formula FCC determined through the local board. Here in CO we have over 40 PSAPs. I would like to learn were you information comes from regarding the diversion of funds.

I am waiting for replies from the state emergency management folks to learn how...

How can I get a list of all the tentative releases of phones to Cingular off of this site other than just checking the specs of all the phones I can think of?
If you already have some sort of tool please educate me on its use, and if not, do you think you might be able to put something like that on this site.
