Lately, when I use an emoticon link during a post, the entire post disappears and is replaced with the emoticon. While easily remedied by pressing CTRL+Z and trying again, its been happening a lot recently. Is this something going on with the website, or is it possible that its something on my computer?

So, I got a new computer (Windows 7 Home Edition) and ever since then I can't log on to phonescoop. I put my S/N and password, hit log in, and it takes me back to the log in screen...

my job wants me to do a presentation on phonescoop because its so knows about it. i should get a free shirt or something for the promotional advertising that im doing at work for yall 😁 😎

So, I read the warning on the top of the page.

What exactly would happen with IE 6 after the remodel? What will work and what won't?

I ask because I use this site (as well as numerous coworkers) for phone information and our employer won't update the browser.

Will the site be lost entirely?

Out of curiosity? Apple sells 17 million phones in three days and you don't say anything about it?

I guess this is the wrong forum to bring it up though. Any non-harmful information about Apple should be brought up on other websites.

Being a website that's phone centered, I was just wondering if I totally missed the mobile version...

or if I'm wrong for getting a chuckle out of the lack of a mobile version. 🤣

As a frequent contributor to the Verizon forum over the last many years, it seems to me that it would be beneficial to have a FAQ within a forum to answer questions that get asked all the time. While it's nice to have people posting in the forum, some of the more basic inquiries usually end up with negative responses telling people to search more effectively, giving no regard to the fact that in any given day we might add hundreds of posts to the forum. If we had something to direct people toward we could control the flow of the forum better and enjoy conversation, as opposed to someone jumping down a visitor's throat simply because they asked a rather basic question.

In the FroYo review, you guys mention being able to surf to Hulu and view video on it just fine, but Hulu said it would be blocked, as did Adobe and Google... which one is right? Did you guys go to it over WiFi, and change the UAstring to desktop?

Don't know if it's just me, but seems to be more spam arriving recently...

It would be nice to be able to mark a message a spam and then see it silently disappear into the shredder.

Something simple like "This many reports of spam and it gets auto deleted/hidden"... or hidden until a moderator verifies otherwise.

Poster gets x many messages marked as spam and suspended/banned.

Maybe limit the ability to report spam to active community members. Would need something to prevent possible abuse.

I don't know if maybe I am the only one, but it seems to take forever to navigate through the thread-style forums here. I do it, but it becomes quickly tiring.

I was wondering if there was some kind of option you could design that would show not just the title of the post/response but also the content.

A LOT of other forums and tech sites are using that approach, do you think maybe you could at least make it an option?
