Well... about the Alias 2... Samsung phones don't pick up well on Verizons network. If you want something that picks up good, check out the LG enV3, LG enV Touch, or Motorola Rival.
Is alltel strong in your area? If it is, go for the Alias 2. If it has some weak spots, you may want to look at the LG enV2/Touch or Motorola Rival.
