Well, looks like another one has jumped on board. Catherine Zeta-Jones can beat up the alltel guy anyday.

Unless you're on a family plan...then My Favs is 5 numbers PER LINE, whereas My Circle is still 10 numbers divided between each line.

Oh. Either way I still wouldn't go with them. Their network is the worst in the U.S.

Why would a company already want coverage in those rinky dink cities? 🤣 T-Mo is much worse for not supplying service to rural areas with about 100 people to a town rather than and choosing instead to improve coverage in places like NYC, Chicago, LA... 😛

They're not all small towns. Many have millions of people. they just don't have the biggest ones. Which those three alone make up something like 23 Million people. Also, Alltel is making much more money then T-Mobile is per customer without running their customers dry, how do you think they are able to buy so many carriers and upgrade almost their entire network to broadband EVDO data? Besides Alltel is tight with VZW and Sprint they rely on Alltel and Alltel relies on them....so I can get service anywhere there is to have service in the US 😁

i mean, who travels to NYC or Chicago??? I am glad that Alltel's phones work in North and South Dakota, as well as Montana. It's critical that I can get service there. And you know what's even better? If I drop a call, I don't have to pay for it!! That's huge for me---I mean, when I drop calls on the Alltel network, it makes me feel so much better that I know I am not paying for that phone call. My clients all understand when I tell them that I "got that minute back".

It's because you live in South Dakota. Even Alltel has trouble covering that. I'm sure the other carriers are worse.

You still don't get it. Alltel has the best roaming agreements, they can use Verizon, Sprint, USCC, and others. On top of that, lower prices. Alltel has the minute back thing. But dropped calls happen very rarely. I've had everyone but Verizon (and I can force my phone onto verizon when I want to test it out) Alltel builds there network just as as Verizon if not better. They are definately better then T-Mo, Cingular and Sprint. The only one that comes close to or beats them is Verizon. It does depend on location on who is the best. On average in the areas they serve, Alltel beats out everyone much more then they lose. I am not bias and am very open to what the other companies have. I don't work for Alltel nor do not see their flaws. But bei...

Umm, yes. What an odd question. Are you thinking T-Mo is like Cricket?

I hear T-Mo's 5 numbers can only be changed ONCE a MONTH and the plans don't include Mobile to Mobile free calling to other T'Mo customers, hence 1 of the myfaves numbers has to be the other T'mo number/s to get free calling. Also the MyFaves rate plans include less minutes than Alltel's family plans?? Also customers need to sign a 24 month term to take advantage of free myFaves calling?? Hell Alltel customers just need to be on a $59.99+ plan to get My Circle calling and rate plan changes don't require contracts, plus ANY e911 handset can be used. Instead T' Mo makes their customers get a software dependant handset (which they may not like).....sounds like a LOSE - LOSE situation with T-MO to me???

I also heard they need a special phone (i'm assuming software on the phone is different). Not 100% about that though.

I am neither, but T-Mo offers me great value, and has worked for me everywhere I've needed it.
