I am looking to change phones from my current LG 5450 to either the Slider Remix or Razr V3c. I like the features of both phones, etc. I need some opinions though. I go to school in a moderately rural area and an Alltel rep in a nearby town said not to get the Razr b/c it doesn't have analog. The signal still sucks on my 5450 but i am worried about signal strength, etc so can anyone add some info. I really want a small functional, loaded phone that can be reception. Any thoughts?

I would suggest the Slider Remix. I've played with them both and the Slider is a lot sturdier, plus it does have analog. In addition, the music quality on the Slider is amazing AND it comes with a usb cable and all the software you need to download your own music into the phone, backup your phone book, etc.
I personally think the Razr has been totally over-hyped and is NOT worth the money. It looks a lot cooler on TV than it did in my hand.

I would have to say the Slider is a better choice for rural areas however if anyone remembers the SE44 you will recall what a horrible time we had with the slide. The screen goes out, disconnects calls, wont stay open or wont close all the way. I can only say I hope Kyocera improved the physical strength of the top.

Yes, the slide is a lot sturdier this time around. And the software isn't all buggy. The Remix is a HUGE step up.

No way the V3c is a much better phone

not to mention Motorola's call quality and software is much more advanced than kyocera's

and the Razr is extremely sturdy
