Text Messaging Problem for Alltel
This problem started around after lunchtime. My brother and I both can no longer send text messages to email addresses. They are sent successfully but never received. However, we can send and receive to phones and can also receive from email addresses, but just can't get anybody to receive text to their email. Just this morning this was not a problem. I've called Alltel, and they can't figure it out because it's saying on their end in the mainframe system the messages are sent so they created a trouble ticket. Is this just my brother and I or all of Alltel right now?

I've been having problems with Alltel's text messaging system as well. I can send text messages just fine, but receiving them is another story. Even tried using their website to send text messages to my phone and it doesn't work. I've called Alltel's tech support but they don't offer much help. Its a good thing I also have a Tmobile phone/service too. So I can communicate via text. P.S. Tmobile's customer service and tech support are awesome!

Yes-there was an HD Ticket reported yesterday that addressed this issue. As of right now the issue is not resolved, but probably will be today.
