Alltel New Phones
Any new phones for Alltel? Like a new PTT phone or a new camera or flip phone?

đ đ đ well your phones are on their way....thru the grapevine i have heard that Alltel is working with Samsung to get some of their phones in...with the phasing out of Toshiba 9500 ..a new camera phone is on the horizon and with ATT being bought out...there might be a chance that Alltel will purchase some additional "properties" to expand their coverage...so be patient Alltel is working on all that you have asked for...

I hope that some of the new phones include the Kyocera Koi and Motorola V710 or V810. Has anyone heard if any of these phones are included in the upcoming lineup for Alltel? An additional note is that I have always been very happy with the service, coverage area,etc that Alltel has provided but phone selection is very poor and they need to work on it.

anyone know which phones specifically Alltel plans to release within the next month or so? I don't understand why they don't get some more Motorolas because there features and quality are superior to everyone else.

U HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE WHAT VERIZON IS BRINGING INTO THE MARKET, BUT AS THE MAJOR CARRIERS ARE SWITCHING TO GSM, LESS AND LESS MOTOROLA PHONES ARE BEING DEVELOPED UNDER THE CDMA FORMAT.

I emailed Motorola about Alltel getting any new phones and they emailed me back saying there are none planned to be released with Alltel and for me to buy the ones Verizon releases and use them on Alltel...I thinking really hard about going to Verizon.

Any new Kyocera/LG/Samsung phones coming to Alltel? I like the new Samsung phones on the home page. The kyocera koi along with LG 8000/7000 are cool too

U may be having quite a good advantage of that porting out, Verizon has great reception, a good Customer Service, and they will have the latest CDMA phones, even 3 months before the other carriers.

No need to port out. Alltel has 4 new phones that they are about to release within the next two months. I do know what they are. But i cant tell. And yes i do work for Alltel.

But i cant tell"...I would really like to know, and if you told me I SWEAR I wouldn't say ANYTHING, cause I have the Toshiba CDM 9500 now and its really going down hill and Alltel doesn't currently carry a phone I would even consider. But if you can't say anything I completely understand...never hurts to ask tho đ J

I new camera phone, ptt phone, or hell any COLOR FLIP phone for that matter...When Alltel released their picture messaging service i wanted to get it but I hated how thick that phone was, then when I heard they were releasing Touch 2 Talk service I was gonna get that but I gotta have a flip phone, so it was a lose=lose situation for me âšī¸ ((additional properties? = other carriers?))

....well i cant spill all the beans on what phones are coming...i mean Alltel is very "tight lipped" about what is coming out. But have heard many things in the past few days. They have many phones on the way that will appeal to many clients...the PTT phone is not perfect but is much better then the Verizon one...the delay is not as bad and will be able to Applications this next week (download stuff) so one more plus for Alltel.......hoooorayyyyy!!!!!!
