im happy yet im not, they have poor cust service not that alltel had great. But when i moved to college told them i wanted 900 total min unlimtied text they made text pay per use and took me to 400 min which didnt even include verizon to verizon...so i had a 1200.00 bill....and they laughed at me

When was this? Prior to 2004? When Denny Strigl decided to embrace LNP as an opportunity to peel away customers from other carriers rather than hoard VZW's own customers...I noticed the culture changed quite a bit. I feel badly for the middle managers who are about to lose their jobs though. These so-called "synergies" are real people who will be phased out because their jobs are redundant. I hope someone else creates a new carrier to buy those divested markets or a smaller carrier steps up and takes them just as Alltel did when Verizon was created. If AT&T, Sporint or T-Mobile buys those markets that will be horrible for competition. I would like to see U.S. Cellular, Leap or Metro PCS make a move. Maybe Cellular South will bid for ...
