Ok i was just talking to my local Alltel reps and they told me that they were told by their bberry rep that they were going to get a touchscreen bberry similar to the storm but under a different name...this is only if the merger didnt go through they said.....has anyone else heard this rumor.

I looked over at crackberry but didnt see anything about Alltel getting the Storm under a different name but if this is true I would rather wait for the BB storm then get the HTC Touch pro when it comes out if it really is coming to Alltel.

Sandy the TP should be droped with alltel on Nov. 13th, per some sources. They have nothing to lose by selling it and alot to gain alot of users are wanting this phone. I love the KB and the Business card scanner if Alltel keeps that part of the phone. BB would still b back seat to me.

I love my blackberry curve from Alltel now the thing is the keyboard is way too small for me. I have always been a BB diehard I love the email I use the email on my curve so much.
On the storm the landscape touch keyboard is rather large. I went into Best Buy and played with the Touch Pro since they have it already and it is smaller then I thought I have to admit the keyboard is fantastic though.
I really dont know BB Storm or Touch Pro I havent heard anything about the BB storm coming to alltel except here and no substance to the rumor. So I may end up with the Touch pro anyhow.
Alltel is coming out on the 6th with the Samsung Delve but I really like Push Email and thats important to me too.
I have 8 Phones with allt...

I can agree with you on the price, as my bill per month for 2 phones is $150.00 we are on the smart choice 1200 plan with Insurance on a HTC Touch & a HTC 6800. I am looking at the pro for me. Wife is happy with her Touch. I also like that the Pro is SDHC capable. Not sure what the back ground on the storm is. I have yet to hear anything about the storm on alltel but then again I am not a BB fan as i stated before.
