yes any smartphone bought with contract upgrade pricing must have a data plan attached to it for the x amt of years you signed up for the contract for. 1 or 2 yr agreements. you can get one from Ebay or Craigslist and no dataplan is required but i wouldn't know why u would want a pda phone and no data plan.

Just like store hours. Someone shows up 20 minutes before we open and wants to know why we didn't open when they were right there; gee, why don't we just change our time to 9:40am... then 9:20am... or we just man the store 24 hours a day so you never have to wait for someplace...

You're right, we try to close every night at 7pm but damn if we don't have people always wanting to come in and activated at 6:55pm.
As for closing permanently, that is definitely a possibility, it's a good thing my entire life isn't hinged upon retail sales, huh?
