they are not going to get rid of that many call centers closing because thats too much money lost and i am pretty sure my job is safe as the call center i am is completely company owned and operated... dont have to worry much if the company owns everything

to me that doesn't even make sense. I hate when people get on here and act like they know everything. It doesn't matter which forum I'm on. Now I'm not in wireless I just really enjoy this site but from a business point of view is it really a good idea to cut down all of that customer support when you are adding millions of customers. Maybe I'm wrong though just my opinion. 🙂

Why would you cut support when adding customers? cutting support = longer hold times and more upset customers and lower SLA

When Alltel purchased Western Wireless (Cell One) in 2005 we kept a good handfull of their call centers - Leads me to believe we will keep a majority of the Alltel Call Centers once we transform into Verizon...
