Hey guys, this is a question for other alltel reps... are you guys (or gals) seeing lots of problems with the V9? I did three DOA's yesterday morning on these phones... one guy it was the second DOA i did for him.. Just wondering how common this was... I'm kind of getting scared to even sell the thing now.

Sparks,
I've sold 5 V9m's personally and so far and have had no problems with any of them or any other razr2's sold. But i have had TONS of issues w/ the touch. i love the phone but the majority of them sold have been either returned or exchanged for a blackberry. have or any other reps encountered these problems?

Do the software upgrage - it fixes almost everything that was an issues with the phone. Reps should be flashing first before the DOA

I flashed each phone first and still had the problems... so I did the doa... also I'm surprised on the the feedback since alltel did post the V9 on the extended DOA Matrix. As far as the touch goes... i did a little extensive personal research and training, and then retrained my people and it's been a great phone for us, I havn't had one come back yet.

For the price I have felt that we have seen to many of these phones back in the retail store. I still think its a great phone though... As far as the HTC touch goes it has its quirks - I carry one myself for my company phone and have just learned and educated my customers to get use to its diffrent things. Its still a good phone in my opinion. I am really curious to see how well the Blackberry curve does... I really think its going to me a GREAT phone!!
