Alltel Hue cell phone
I purchased a Samsung cell phone the day before yesterday from Alltel. It was a Samsung Sch-r500 - Alltel Hue.
I was unable to download a ringtone to this new phone that I had been able to download to the previous cell phone I had.
Does anyone have any ideas that may help me? Thanks!

If you are trying to download your own ringtones, you can't do that on that model phone. If it's that important to you, I would suggest exchanging the phone for the LG AX-380 Wave which is a great phone that let's you do everything, including downloading your own ringtones from your pc using a microSD card or Bluetooth. It even let's you record your own sounds using the phone and saving them as ringtones. With the Hue, you have to buy your ringtones through Alltel.

Alltel blocks any signals from other companies that you purchase ringtones from....sadly Chad is money hungry...lol you have to purchase the ringtones from the alltel site. 🙄

Neigh, you can actually go to Myxertones.com and get all kinds of ringtones from there. You'll need to have mobile web to download them once they are sent to you, but it's pretty easy.

I just attempted to use Bluetooth to copy a song over from my buddy's RAZR (which is on Alltel). So if you know anyone who has ringtones that they did not purchase from Alltel, as long as they have a phone that allows object push via Bluetooth (RAZR, ROKR, ect) you can copy them over from their phone.
