Fcc appoved Alltel Buyout

Today the FCC appoved the buyout alltel i hoping to close the buyout before nov 22 😁

that's a pretty bold statement, where's the link to back it up?

With an investment firm buying out Alltel, it would have little trouble getting through the FCC for a buyout. Now if any of the wireless carriers tried to buyout Alltel, then depending on who acquired them, would have to divest certain markets. Verizon would likely have the most divestures, and mostly within Michigan, Ohio, and parts of the southeastern states. USCC would mainly face divestures in the great plains states, especially in Nebraska & Kansas where Alltel was forced to divest overlapped WW networks with existing Alltel networks. Plus up in Wisconsin where USCC & Alltel overlap would also face divestures (Wisconsin wouldn't be an issue for VZW since their own network is PCS only). Nothing will change at all for now. Investors bought them and now they have allot of money for the upcoming auction!
