Alltel is supposed to be getting a BB pearl variant in the near future.....but i don't know when exactly.....

Just got word that Alltel will be getting a new Blackberry at the end of the month. Alltel is also going to get the Pearl, but not until December.

After talking to my Alltel representative this week, they should be releasing the Blackberry Curve next month with the Pearl coming in December. I was really wanting the Pearl but will probably check out the Curve to see what its like.

If these phones that are supposed to be released shortly were already in the pipeline before the big Qualcomm/Broadcom lawsuit started, they should be there. When we actually have them in the stores, I promise you we will publicize it. We're sure not going to keep it a secret!

The only other CDMA BB in development is the Pearl Curve is still GSM only.
