I'm bored at work, nothing to do, decide to check out the alltel website (something I usually never have a need to do) and bam!!! the 8910 is on there. All I can say is its about time. I for sure thought we were going in to christmas with a that old school nine phone line up. Now if they could just deliver one more surprise phone I might take back everything negative I've ever said about alltel.

Yeah I was in shock to see a new phone added to the web site.
Now I have a real to choice to make. Do I get the LG 5550 or the Audiovox 8910? *Ü*
My main concern is reception, followed by bells & whistles as they say.
I have no need or want for the Moto v710. I am so old or maybe stupid that I have no idea what bluetooth is or how it is used.
I keep reading reviews on the first two mentioned above but they rank about the same. So if anyone out there has used or can give some insight on those two phones I would appreciate it very much.

Read the reviews, the Audiovox, while it does provide the camera, did not get as good reviews as the LG models for speaker phone, loudness, reception, etc.
Wait for the V710

Thanks Snuggles, I will re-read the reviews.
I really don't want the V710 only because I really don't know what advantage it would be for me. I don't understand what Bluetooth is really & can't see paying the high price for a something I would probably never use.
So with that in mind & the fact that Alltel will only be getting maybe 3 more phones before spring the only ones that I would actually think about are the LG 5550 & the Audi 8910, (I do not like the LG 4700 or the LG 3200 that Alltel is suppose to get).
I wish Alltel had gotten the Audiovoc 9900, now that is a cool phone. *Ü*

The advg of bluetooth is one can send to their phone from computer, palm pilot or other phone through bluetooth technology graphics and ring tones that you'd normally have to pay for through access.

Can't that be done without bluetooth? I mean I did it with just a data cable on my old Moto T720.
Plus too I saw the V710 & do not like it. That thing is almost a brick phone. 🤣
I need a smaller phone because of my arthritis & the larger ones make my hands hurt so bad.
Thanks for telling what bluetooth is cause I had no idea.

Yes you are correct can be done with data cable, but this is wireless.
