I have had mine for 2 weeks and have loaded all sorts of stuff onto it with not a single hiccup.
I feel pretty good about recommending the Q to folks.

I work for verizon tier 3 WDTS and the Q is a horrid PDA trust me anyone that works for tech support and that has worked on the Q knows this. It generates more calls even than the 700w and that is quite a bit. IT has major software issues and trying to get motorolas support line to take ownership of them is like trying to cut off your own leg. Battery life is also horrible. If you want an ok pda get the palm not the w or get a blackberry.

This still doesn't say what kind of issues are being found? Is this software that was installed from alltel, or by the user? are they using the orig install or have they modded the install like on the ppc6700?

Its is firmware update from motorola that is causeing the problems with the Q,s not a problem with alltel or the customer.

Some of the problems we have had here are when you power the device off it will never power back on again. It will cause data sessions to initiate by itself and the only way to disconnect it is to do a soft reset. Makes the device run very slow and also causes the battery to drain very quickly because of the constant data sessions. Will also cause the device to freeze or will not let it connect to the internet at all.
