Verizon on April 1st. You heard it here first!!!
...
🙄
Sorry, condradicts everything I've heard so far, and I'm willing to bet that you have no facts to back it up either. Nice try.
...
Even if they announce it, it could take years for the FCC to approve it. They're still fuming at themselves for letting one of the "Baby Bells" to arrange themselves into a bigger corp than the original "Ma Bell".
...
Yeah and verizon is one of those baby bells!!
...
Well, but SBC put them to shame, the number of households that don't have an ATT product/service is easier to count than those that do.
...
yeah but as far as wireless subscribers they dont really need them to be the best verizon is a big headed company that thinks they are the best. they dont think they need any help to be the best.
...
No, but they need Alltel's numbers to be #1 in #s of customers. That's the biggest benefit to Verizon. The ability to overshoot Cingy in #'s of customers without having to actually sell to new people.
...
Has anyone seen or heard any info on this for certain?
...
This is not happening....
The most likely suitor (wireless industry) is Sprint, after that, Comcast. This is assuming that Alltel does merge/sell, and it isn't to/with an investment company.

How do you even know that Alltel going to this?I never have heard a company announcing this kind news on a sunday! 🙄
...
Agreed. Unless some hard evidence can be produced, I declare this Schananigans!
Besides, if Verizon bought out Alltel it's be catastrophic news for ALL cell users. If Verizon had the combined numbers of Alltel and Verizon they could charge whatever they want for prices...
...
HELLO EVERYONE APRIL 1ST IS APRIL FOOLS DAY...HE WAS JOKIN! GEEZUS!
...
...Your the one with the caps lock on
...
Seeing as how we haven't gotten to April 1st...don't you think it's a little early for the jokes? Yeah...me too.
...
I was tryin to prove a point to you idiots.... i bet it is an april fools joke! TOTALLY!
...
You're only slightly less moronic than Snuggles right now. You do get that, right?
...
