My 1X is gone!
My Blackberry Bold would, until recently behave normally and show 3G when I used data and would switch to 1X when I placed a voice call.
In the past few weeks, I noticed that when on the phone for a voice call, the 3G indicator stays on and it never switches to 1X.
Wife has a different phone and hers is doing the same thing.
Anyone have any insight as to network changes that may have been made recently.

Has to just be a software change in the phones or something. Voice calls are not made via 3G at all. Only 1X. Sounds like the phones just aren't showing the 1X now. Text are also sent via 1X.

The display on your phone is useless. Your Blackberry either works as it's supposed to for calls and data, or it doesn't.
Don't get hung up on the screen icons. They're only meaningful if they are accompanied by some sort of actual device failure.
