SD Card

ok so I put in my memory card to my glimmer but when i try to access the ringtones it says there is nothing there.

did u RTM? does the Glimmer require a formated card?

If I remember right the Glimmer will only show MP3's on the memory card? Ringtones will not show up on the card... I believe -

95% positive this will work. Pull everything off of your card and save it to your computer.....put the card back in the glimmer and somewhere under "settings" or "memory settings" there will be something about formatting the card. This will create folders for you to put your stuff back in. Any ringtones should be on the phone, but unless you have purchased them via the access apps, you won't be able to set them as ringtones. The reason you want to put your stuff on the computer first is because formatting it will erase everything (everytime i've done that it has) Hope this helps.

Yes, formatting SD cards in phones (or computers) will wipe out anything on the card...

Once you have formatted the card in the phone, you can put the card in a card reader on a computer and then copy files to & from the card - just make sure to use files that are compatible with the phone - like music files need to be MP3 format.
