T-Mobile Special Offers

I'm considering switching to T-Mobile, however, before I do I'm wondering if they have any specials they run from time to time. Or are the plans listed on T-Mobile's website basically the only plans you can get, end of story.

If there are specials what is a typical one you may have or have seen?

Also, would I be better off going into a T-Mobile store and consulting with one of their employees. Will they offer different plans than are listed?

I just want a plan with at least 300 anytime minutes and unlimited night and weekend. Everything else doesn't really matter to me.

Thanks

t-mobile issue

Ok, this may sound like a bit of a rant but there is a purpose. I have tried to sign up with t-mobile 3 times. the first time i was told that there was a credit verification necessary and that on of the credit agencies they use required verification. I showed drivers license. They said not good enough. i returned with my PASSPORT bills etc. NOt not good enouhg--they required that i answer the phone at a land line address i jad 5 years ago. I tried one last time online. Still no go, i had to call them.

two of the venders i went through said this was a problem they had frequently. and that t-mobile lost a lot of business because of this weird one way only form of verification. (yes, i could find out which credit rating company had the holdu...

Voice Mail Problems

I'm having major problems with voice mail. Just got back from Europe where I was this past week and anyone trying to call me whom I pushed into voice mail got landed in the middle of the generic T-Mobile voicemail system where they had to wade through a menu and input my mobile number! When I turned off the phone then the voicemail worked correctly. Also, when I called other T-Mobile customers and they didn't answer, it would ring into my voicemail!! After several calls with customer service they admitted to having a "...voice mail system issue..."

Any plans to add the T637?

Are there any plans for TMobile to add the SE T637 to the lineup anytime soon? It seems like that phone fits my needs the best, and I'd rather not pay full price for an unlocked phone and bring it over to TMobile.

Does TMobile have high speed data access in its future?

I'm confused with all these new high speed data services coming out, I know Verizon, Sprint and AT&T are doing stuff but what about TMobile? I have them right now and would love to use a bluetooth phone to allow me to surf the net and get email with my PDA.

Nokia 3660 question

I just got my 3660 on Monday and had to send it back Tuesday for a replacement because the one they sent me has a couple of defects.

1. Whenever you try to open t-zones, the browser closes itself and displays a message saying "App. closed browser"

2. For some reason, the phone wasn't properly reading the sim card.

The tech support guys at t-mobile told me that it is some kind of defect in the phone and to send it back for another one.

I think that this is just an isolated incident because my friend has a 3650 and this never happened, even to his replacement (he dropped it off of his balcony and it cracked and bounced into the pool).

Anyone else had any problems like this?

Considering Switching

I was recently looking into tmobile and had some questions. I currently have cingular but am not happy with their data and international charges. I was wondering how often TMobile updates it's coverage because it is a little sparse in west TN. Also I have a Nokia 7250i phone I use in Europe can I just use it with T-Mobile. It is unlocked, but I can't seem to get it to work now here and how hard would it be to configure for mobile internet use here in AMerica. Would someone at a store know?

6600 vs. 6260

My friend has a Nokia 6600 and I was about to get one too until I saw this phone. I really like ALL the features on the 6600(camera, video, infarad, bluetooth, speakerphone, mp3,...ALOT MORE). Can anyone please tell me if there is ANY FEATURES that this one lacks compares to the 6600? and would the 6260 work with T-mobile? Thanks

T-MO ptt?

Hello, I was wondering if anyone had any news or knowledge if T-Mobile will add ptt feature to its celluar phone service. T-MO is the only major celluar service that doesnt have ptt or hasnt released any information on future ptt service. I Am 95% sure Cingular, Nextel, Verzion, and Sprint have ptt or will have ptt available in the NEAR future (Cing.) . Thanks in advance for posts. -Andrew

Question about new phones...

I know the E315 and the P735 are scheduled to be released for T-Mobile. I'm pretty sure I heard the E315 will be out in September. Does anyone know when the P735 will be out? I really want one of them and just wanted an idea of how soon these will be available.

Thanks in advance.

Do I have to pay the $200 early termination fee?

My new T-Mobile phone doesn't get strong signals in office. It has been activated for about a week. I heard that the $200 fee is waived for cancellation within 14 days from activation. But that day a T-Mobile representative I called also mentioned that the total usage time needs to be less than 30 minutes. I used much more minutes than that. Do I need to pay the $200 fee?
Thanks.
