Okay, what's up?

Very Happy, On the Cingular forum there is a surprising number of folks boasting about the wonders of VZW. Often they try to take over and change the forum into another VZW base. I do not see those users listed here. What is up with that? Is this not the post to boast about VZW in? Confused

Forced into a Phone

Evil or Very Mad Recently, my phone fell and broke and I had to get a new phone from VZM. I wanted to wait for the CDM 9500 but it wasn't out yet. I saw it on the phonescoop but of course they didn't know anything about it when I went to the dealer. As a result I was forced into buying a phone with me Two Up at the time. A phone I didn't want. I have the CDM 8900 and it is ok. They told me I have until Jan 15th to change out of phones. I am thinking about tradeing it in for another type of phone in hopes that the CDM 9500 comes out soon. Any advice?

Sanyo to Verizon-Help Please

I have had a cell phone for quite a long time. I have had Sprint and Verizon and like them both. I have also worked for both but it has been a while ago. I currently have Verizon because of there coverage. However like most others out there apparently I am not a huge fan of Verizon’s phones. I am not one of these people that are interested in a camera phone but instead want the best call quality possible as well as reception. What I very much want to do and do not really care how much money it takes to get it done is get the Sanyo SCP-5400/RL 2500 and or the SCP-5500 / VM4500 working on Verizons network. I do not need the two way feature and I don’t need the get it now stuff. All I want is my text messaging and voice mail and pho...

Audiovox: Quality or Crap??

Hey Verizon guys & gals!! Can anyone tell me if Audiovox phones are any good? I herd that one of them was recalled recently (8900 I think?) so I wanted to know if their phones are top notch. I stopped into a Verizon wireless store and saw the 8600 and I think it is a pretty nice phone. I never used a cellphone from them before and I need to know are their phones a sound investment. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Smile

What are all the Phone that a coming soon to Verizon

I am eligible to upgrade my phone around the middle of January. What phones are coming soon, and which ones would you recommend or wait for. Also, how do these compare to Verizons current offerings. I am trying to get the best phone for my money, with battery life and sound quality being of high importance. Are there any really cool offering hitting the stores any time soon? Please project costs also.

Thanks in Advance,

pros/cons of the 8900

This question has been asked before I'm sure, but I'm asking again anyway. What are the good and bad of the Audiovox 8900? I'm considering gettting one. I live in Omaha and need the tri-mode, from what I was told, because some places I travel too don't have good reception/towers IE. Northwest Iowa. Also, how does it compare to the LG 6000? I currently have a Motorola T720, but am interested in camera phones. Bottom line is, like everyone else, I don't want dropped calls. Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions.

SAMSUNG A610 Outter display?

I am planning on buying the Samsung a610 in the near future and i have heard that the dummy phone is out and that it also came with a outer display. I was skeptical about buying this phone for that reason. So does anybody know if this phone will have both inner and outer displays? also if theres any news about the release date that would also be appreciated.

Kyocera SE47 / V5

This is listed as Tentative. I just ported over from cingular, and have two lines activated with the vx4400s. However, I would *really* like to pick up the slider for my personal phone. Any idea if waiting for this is a good idea, or should I just cave and get another 4400?

v810 - just wondering....

I know the official word never comes out a week before a product release... BUT, has there been any more rumor behind the Motorola v810 release? I am planning on passing up the Samsung A610 - if this Motorola is still somewhat in the future..... Thanks

Trial Period?????

I just purchased a moto v60s from my local dealer. Today when I was in the store the arrogant and obviously stressed out immature sales "boy" told me that I am stuck with this phone and could not return it during fifteen day trial period. The "boy" had told me that I had purchased 4 phones this year and returned them all during the 15 day trial period. I do admit to this. When I purchase a NEW phone I expect it to be better than the NEW phone I purchased over a year earlier. Verizon has not come out with REAL phones since I can remember. I have been with them since 1994 when it was Bell Atlantic Mobile (also when they treated you like a customer). All there phones lately are toys designed for children. The phones I returned were the LG6000, ...

verizon's new plans?

Hey does anyone have a heads up about some of the new rate plans comming out in the near future?

Since I'm an agent of verizon, and I'm just a Senior Account Executive. I only get the trickle down effect. So since i don't get the e-mails showing the new plans it takes like a week for me to get the info. I end up getting the information like a day before it comes out.

I would just like a heads up

8900 - Outer LCD in S. CA NOT displaying "Verizon Wireless"?

I apologize for posting this in both this and the 8900 forum, but I'm very curious...

I have heard from a couple people who got their 8900s in S. Cali that their outer display does NOT flash between the date/time and "Verizon Wireless". Is this true? If so, I may have to order one from Santa Barbara, because that is a HIGHLY annoying feature.

Thanks in advance for any replies!
Very Happy
