so im thinking about switching over from cingular.. i have a couple of questions.. do they offer nights at 7 and is the battery life on their phones really that bad?

i recently purchased a helio and was aware of a credit fee. i checked my bank and helio account today...and helio charged me way above the credit fee (and its only been a week since i got my phone). what's more dissapointing is that the payment was automated (without my consent). it was too late to call a customer service (apparently they are closed at 8pm during weekends), so I sent an email. is this my misunderstanding or did anyone else had the same trouble. i will update this information tomorrow after i call them (i really hope this is my misunderstanding of things for i really like my phone).

How do I get korean content like screens, videos and music on my kickflip? I hate the music+videos and screen they have on the american download site. Is there a way for me to get korean content on mine?

I am someone who creates his own ringtones, I have ever since I found out the wonderful use of a USB cable about 4 years ago, then I dropped the cable 2 years ago and went to Bluetooth. Unfortunately, with Helio I was forced to go back to USB :\



I transferred my cropped music to my device, but that's all it sees it as... Music.


How do I transfer tones to my device to use them as ringers? Do I have to convert them to a certain format in order to use them first?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew how Helio handles phone repairs. If you phone needs to be fixed for whatever reason, do you have to ship it back to Helio? if so do they give you a loaner while your phone is being repaired?

Does any1 know of any sites 2 download free content 2 the hero phone, and also know how 2 convert movies and video 2 play on the hero phone. every time i try 2 transfer a movie using the mover i get an error code from the encoder. and 1 more thing do any1 kno how 2 create ringtones 4 the hero. yeah i kno im askin alot but any help would b appreciated. 😁 oh yeah plz and thank u

My impression of this service is that Helio will be able to function on BOTH verizon and sprint networks, and at the time of call/use the phone service w/ the most stable signal will be the one used at that time. Is this correct? If so isnt it like having both sprint and verizon services? I am not following why either verizon or sprint would allow this and why anyone and everyone wouldnt go to Helio. What are the drawbacks to Helio?

Does helio have ringback tones at all. also how much does it cost to get ringtones on here.

With a flat rate of $80 for everything messaging, data, and voice, and a sweet phone. It comes to a good deal. Now wut will take me in is yes a QWERTY keyboard, and having both Sprint and Verizon, major bonus. Just a question is there free roaming, so you can roam off of Alltel and Verizon all you want? This might be my next carrier untill im done with my cingular contract expires in Febuary 2007. Also, im looking for family plans, wanna know how those are going to shape out. Well looks like a good company, just need to grow and get more people and add more services.

Can Helio send and receive text message from and to other carriers such as Verizon, T-mobile, Cingular, etc?

Couple of years back when I had a Sprint, I was not able to use text messaging with other carriers. Since Helio is using Sprint Network, I am wondering if this may be the same case.
