Metro PCS Blackberry Curve

Ok guys, I have seen lately in different sites and coming from different sources the news that Metro PCS is coming soon with a Blackberry Curve. It is my understanding the corporate people are already testing the device meaning we are very close, I also understand it will be first release trough best buy which will offer tech support and later will be avliable at metro offices.

My question is for metro Pcs employees: Do you have any more news about this in reference to what dates are they really talking for the release.

thank you for any info that can contribute with the increasing metro pcs comunity.

MetroPCS in New England

I just looked on the MetroPCS website and they have service from Manchester NH south into Metro Boston. Any one useing MetroPCS in NH is it any good? The service area seems to be very similer to Sprint back in 2001. Hopefully Metro will expand to Concord NH.

Liking what I see out of this company.

I have liked what I have seen out of this company. Expanding/talking about a 4g network and expanding their network rapidly. As you may or may not know I live in MA and I have seen their advertisements and stores everywhere I go, which is showing great signs that they want to grow in a very nice area. We shall see what happens in the future with this company. I think great things can come from Metro if they execute correctly.

Thinking about switching to Metro.

I have T-Mobile right now but I don't want to be under contract any more and I don't want a high phone bill because I really don't use my phone that much!

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and would like to know if anyone's happy with Metro. How will Metro work when I travel outside of the Bay. And also, is the service good? 5 years ago, I texted message my cousin. She has Metro and she didn't recieve my text till 2 hours later. Is their a text messaging problem with Metro? I text more than I talk so I don't want their to be any delays.

Thanks for your time!

motorola q flashing, mms/internet?

hey there,
i'm new and full of questions so i'm hoping maybe some of you can help me out a bit...
i'm considering purchasing a motorola q and getting it flashed to metro, but from what i understand, i won't be able to send/recieve picture messaging and won't be able to go on the internet. is this true? also, i hear there are ways to fix that so that you can have all of the features. does anyone know how to modify the phone to have all the features, and if so, could you walk me through it, or if you know of someone who would do it for me, please feel free to let me know. any information you can give me on flashing this phone would be great. i am in the south florida area. thanks!

Metro stands for exactly what it means, your home area is your "Metro" and going out of the home area, your phone will display a roaming indicator on the display and charged the appropriate roaming rate. . Look at the maps on the website, research the plans and the correct phones for your market. Not that difficult. Nationwide long distance, unlimited minutes, no contract or activation fee, travel-talk, all start with the $40/month plan. Just don't get ready to be an avid traveler or get ready for the roaming charges out of a MetroPCS home area. Check the maps!!! Travel-talk feature will let you make a call anywhere but make sure you are ready to pay a roaming charge. for further details.... Wink
