Experiencing trouble with Metro's Nokia 6255i... help...

I purchased a new, Metro Nokia 6255i phone in May and til' this day have not resolved the problem. The problem with my phone is that it powers off and on by itself. The phone tends to power off in places where one signal bar is present. I even sent it to the Nokia Repair Center in Florida which took 18 days to get it back in the same condition! They stated that they had flashed it and there is nothing wrong with the phone- maybe it's the Metro network. After calling Metro n...

Apparently they're going to cover a lot more of the San Joaquin Valley, which is certainly a plus.

Samsung SPH-i700 PDA Phone on MetroPCS?

I just inherited the Samsung PDA phone (SPH-i700) from my dad who used it with Verizon.

Can I use this CDMA phone on MetroPCS if I simply provide the ESN?

Does this need to be unlocked?
Where do I find more info on unlocking this phone to use with a MetroPCS plan. I'm not a customer but I'm interested in moving to MetroPCS.

Use the Samsung i700 on MetroPCS?

I inherited a Samsung i700 and I'm interested in using it on the MetroPCS cellular network. It's CDMA 800/1900.

Can I use it directly with MetroPCS (just open an account & give them the ESN?

or does the i700 phone need to be UNLOCKED?

Where can I get information about unlocking the i700 (sold only for Verizon)?
