1. APPLE launched the IPHONE with 2g when ATT was all ready launching 3g. Did the IPHONE fail, no it did not it revolutionize the cell phone industry for good.

2.APPLE is launching a 3g IPHONE and not a LTE one at the same time VZW is launching LTE. Will it Fail, Im sure its not.

3.VZW has over 93 million customers which is more then ATT. It is known that VZW is more expensive then all the other carriers in the nation. This has not hurt sales, they have the most customers despite the cost.

4. For example, DIRECTV is the most expensive tv service provider in the nation but yet they hold the most customers overall.

5. Droid has not been forgotten and will continue to grow on all networks. ANDROID will be the first phone to offer ...

People are just saying that the Iphone will be slower on Verizon due to max download speed. They're not saying it will fail.

Not necessarily true. VZW said they have spent the past 2 years working with Apple and prepping the network for the iPhone. You really don't think that VZW has something setup to allow iPhones to operate faster than other devices? If this wasn't the case...why have they yet to announce the new data packages that VZW says will be announced "soon"?

2. Is your name really Daniel? Whats the CD5 for?

3. Whatever happened with that hooker?

4. I am almost sure that Comcast or TimeWarner have more customers than DIRECTV. Probably Comcast.

5. Does your browser have a spell check feature or do you have access to a dictionary?

Technically, "Droid" will not "continue to grow on all networks." "Droid" is a Verizon brand.

Android, however, will probably continue to grow on all network.

Sorry, pet peeve...

In online discussions at school, we have gotten into conversations about technology and Android vs iOS always comes up. It is SO ridiculously annoying when people say "Google Droid is outselling iPhone" or "That new Droid operating system is pretty cool". I wanna ***n strangle someone every time!

Okay, I do AT&T, and it's amazingly difficult to keep the pimp slap at bay everytime I hear some chucklehead spout off "Oh wow! You guys have the Droid too?". I am compelled to give a dissertation as to T-mo and the G1 being "Android" and VZW and Motorola as a bunch of lametard brand swindlers. lol

While it is a pet peeve, it is also taken way out of context. It is amazing how I have to explain to friends and colleagues that Droid is short for Android.

The power of marketing.

It's obviously supposed to sound like it's short for Android, but it is a distinct brand. Verizon had to license "Droid" from Lucasfilm. Google didn't have to license the term "Android".

You think YOU have a pet peeve with it. For all the money Verizon is paying Lucas there should be a magical pimp slap which knocks the hell out of anyone who applies it to a non-VZW device.

The iPhone is not the fail. Apple and VZW are the fail due to offering a device that is on the brink of old news to customers that could have the newer one in the next few months. I have lost respect for both these companies for pulling a cheap shot to unknowldgeble consumers. I understand business, but this is a blatant snow job. If the iPhone was offered at a lower price, I could've seen some legitimacy. I expected these companies to finally offer up the iPhone to Verizon customers but not this soon or should I say this late considering a new version is waiting in the wings.

Also, The original iPhone was 2G. However, at that time, the iPhone was nothing no one had ever seen before. Choices are far more abundant now.
