CDMA iPhone not a VZW exclusive
"Just hours after Apple COO Tim Cook explained that the relationship between Apple and Verizon is not exclusive, the Rural Cellular Association released this statement from RCA President and CEO Steven Berry: 'I hope that Verizon will re-affirm its previous commitment to allow smaller and regional carriers to obtain access to popular smartphone and other next generation devices six months after their launch. Further, I seek Verizon's support in encouraging Apple to make the iPhone and iPad available to all RCA members within six months of their release.'"

This Is An Insult.
Instead, they take an iPhone4 and bait unsuspecting consumers that have been lusting for this news, and throw them a very soon to be outdated variant just for the sake of sales and able to claim they have the iPhone. I feel really bad about this and so do my family members that work for VZW. Deception at it's finest. So much greed generated from this single product, should re-define it from the Jesus phone to the Anti-Christ.
If customers are stupid enough to buy this device, then let them. If they're such apple fans, they should KNOW when apple releas...
Anyone noticed that today it's no longer "Android VS iPhone"?
There is no real bashing on the iPhone right now, which is really weird to me, its mostly just trash talking carriers.
I haven't even noticed anyone making the standard "iSheep" or "iDiot" or even the "drinking koolaid" comments.
This is really odd, this IS phonescoop isn't it?
Death to the rumors!
I bet all of you people
And I care, why . . ?
btw, maybe VZ can send you an email with the voicemails from all those calls you're going to miss while you're using your CDMA phone as a WiFi hotspot.
No simultaneous voice and web a big thumbs down
AT&T Vs. Verizon Network Wars...
But the thing is, I don't think you are going to see an immediate impact either way. Sure, there will be people who will pay upward of $500 to get out of their AT&T contract and move to Verizon. But I don't think you will see the mass exodus that folks are predicting. Most iPhone users aren't rich enough to drop that kind of money. So Verizon will see a steady flow of customers if anything. Their networ...
Web OS is still the best
You have a gift for understatement.
I use a BB Torch as my primary device (and LOVE it btw), but wish RIM would steal the WebOS look, feel, and usability. Couple it with Android's...
To all of of you who need to know...
2.APPLE is launching a 3g IPHONE and not a LTE one at the same time VZW is launching LTE. Will it Fail, Im sure its not.
3.VZW has over 93 million customers which is more then ATT. It is known that VZW is more expensive then all the other carriers in the nation. This has not hurt sales, they have the most customers despite the cost.
4. For example, DIRECTV is the most expensive tv service provider in the nation but yet they hold the most customers overall.
5. Droid has not been forgotten and will continue to grow on all networks. ANDROID will be the first phone to offer ...
2. Is your name really Daniel? Whats the CD5 for?
3. Whatever happened with that hooker?
4. I am almost sure that Comcast or TimeWarner have more customers than DIRECTV. Probably Comcast.
Android, however, will probably continue to grow on all network.
Sorry, pet peeve...
