Pretty sweet
I just downloaded it onto my N95 and played around with it. So far I really like it. It's something that I can use when I don't need to know precisely where I am, don't have a clear view of the sky (ie when I'm indoors) and saves my battery. And if I need anything more specific, I can just turn on my GPS and use Google Maps with it. Kudos to Google for this.

Yeah... I'm hoping it gets more accurate as they continue to work on it, because right now it's pretty bad on my Tilt. I'm in downtown Seattle and all it can offer me is a 1700 meter radius... which is pretty much all of downtown Seattle.
They claim that it gets more accurate the more you use it, so we'll see. Plus I can always just turn on GPS and use that if I want an accurate location.

do you guys have a link for download? 👀

Just go to Google from your phone's browser. Then click on the link to maps and it should allow you to download from there.

Here's a couple of suggestions; either get a phone that supports GPS internally, get an external GPS module, or wait till Q1 of 2008 when they launch the upgraded firmware which allows for GPS use (for Sprint at least).

Works great with my BBerry 8830 with VZW. I live in the Phoenix suburbs and it gets my location within a few blocks easy.
