Well the general public outnumbers the educated phonescoop forum users by a considerable #. So you need to add to "repaint their stores and change their stationary", educate the masses that its not the old AT&T. Whether or not you believe it, there IS a negative image out there of the AT&T name that they have to overcome. Some # cruncher convinced someone high up that benefits outweigh the negative image associated with the name. Myself, I've heard enough people mention they hate AT&T usually without a valid reason. That's hard to overcome.
