Because you seem to not understand let me do the math for you...
Suppose you have a VERIZON plan for 1K or even something smaller...lets say 700 minutes and god forbid there was a family emergency or you were out of town or what have you or whatever the case may be...picking on Verizon bc they dont have it here.
Alright so you happen to go over your minute usage and Verizon charges you say what $230 phone bill for that month...well sure they can fix it if you change your plan higher and sign another 2 year agreement or you get stuck with the bill...its that simple and yes it happened to me. I can now be on a shared 550 plan with Cingy/ATT and actually use my phone without going over bc I have 3k already rolled over...long story as to why but it involves Verizon.
