Review: BlackBerry Pearl

i'm not sure whether addressing your points one by one will accomplish anything. so instead i would like to note the following. all of the points you make about software problems are solvable only through hidden shortcuts or mode-specific menus that are not obvious. we review our phones from the standpoint of a novice user who, like most users, is not going to sit down and read a manual nor have a great deal of interaction with experts on that particular phone. i asked a number of long-time blackberry users about these problems and not even they could offer the tips you had.

as for the keypad problem, i clearly demonstrated what was happening to my unit in the video. if that is not happening to your pearl, than i would say you are lucky. you deserve some congratulations. knowing where my device was manufactured should be immaterial. i cannot expect our readers to ask these questions. nor do i expect any t-mobile store would cooperate with a user's request to dig through their inventory to find a pearl made in canada if that might make things better. furthermore, only testing one device, i cannot guarantee our users that device made in one country or another would be better.
