Man "F" that! Sorry dawg, but T-Mobile was wrong. They knew I was roaming, I called to inform them that I would be roaming and where. I paid a HIGH balance bill from regualar roaming in the months previous. Bill was just has high. Don't do it!!! HA!! So after all my asking and double checking I am now told usa UMA internationally DOES NOT work the same as it would in the US. All it would do interantionally is keep you from using your anytime minutes but you will be charged whatever the roamiing rate is.

I'm not that good with the specifics but UMA is your mobile phone being able to use a wifi signal to make calls. These calls are free and unlimited. Hotspot at home is just having a tmobile router at home where you can hook up a home phone line to it and make unlimited calls with it. I tried to connect in the frankfurt airport (where there is a hotspot) and it wouldn't connect. It ried connecting in my final destination (just a regular lynksis router and it won't. Yes you can add myfavs to the iphone or any other phone. You have to add it to your account online (obviously you can't do it on the phone.) When you do it on your online account sometimes it may say "Still pending" but it's set up.

Thanks for you guys help. That's what I thought but the rep kept pushing "if you have a tmobile hotspot." Felt like she skated around saying all wifi networks. Never said it wouldn't be free on other wifi networks, just repeated unlimited on hotspots.Now, which phone..Hmm...

Seems crazy but.... The family share is $149. So if you have 2 lines AND no land line this would work great. Especially if you have your own business or trying to start one. My scenario exactly. A representive told me a week before I got my Shadow that she could make calls on wifi networks without using her anytime minutes. SHe had a blackberry (don't remember exactly which one.) Now I have my shadow and I'm wondering if this is true. I tried calling back and asking another rep and he said no. I thought signing up for the t-mobile unlim internet access would do the trick but he said nope.

From what I've gathered the wing seems to be no more than a second generation razor when compared to the first generation. Is this true? What are significant diff. between the dash and the wing? Should I just buy the dash or is Tmobile delivering something else soon? Gracias
