Can't end task [help]

I opened "text messages" then switched to another program. The "text messages" program locked up (I can not open it). Went to running programs and choose 'stop' (and 'stop all'). Get a message saying: "This program is not responding because it is busy, waiting for a response from you, or has stopped running" I choose 'end task', there's a slight pause, but then the 'runing programs list' still shows 'text messages' and I still can't activate/open the program. ...

Ahhh! I have to hold the stylus down over the clock, lol :) I was just clicking it... Ok, thanks. I'm going to have to find an online guide to WM5 (I'm transitioning from Palm) and/or buy a dummies book or something. I also don't know how to multitask correctly (ie. I have 10programs running, and don't know how to switch/exit/end them) :) Thanks a lot.

Ok, a silly question but a very real/concerning one. The product manual is useless. And for some reason the clock (top right corner) on my today screen switched from a digital clock (which I could read, and I someoften have no watch on) to an small analog clock which I can not read. Anyone have any ideas/advise for how to change it back? I've been searching the settings and can't find a place to fix ...

I just got the MDA today. I'm in Seattle, WA. Basically I decided to sign up for the $29.99 data plan (aka total internet) because they told me (and I really looked into this) they will not sell me the GPRS/EDGE only plan ($14.99) it has to be a combo GPRS/EDGE ($14.99) + Hotspots $15.00) = $29.99 I'm going to travel around the city, use internet anytime I feel like it for one month and then decide if ...

Thanks, that sucks about GPS. It really would have made the decive 'more complete.' As for waiting, yeah that's true. But I know that no matter when I buy/what I get, something cheaper/better/faster will come out a few weeks later :) At this point I just accept that. Still one of the 'coolest' things about my friends PPC-6700 was the GPS, so it's something to think about. As I look at the other 'smart phones' ...

GPS???

 So I plan to buy the Tmobile MDA on Tuesday (assuming they are in stock). I was blown away by my friends PPC-6700 (CDMA). He had a GPS and when I talked to Tmobile (who are idiots) they were 'fairly certain' the MDA did too. But phonescoop doesn't list it (side by side comparison to PPC-6700). Can someone confirm, is there really no GPS? That would suck. I guess I'll still get it, but ...
