On the Blackjack there is an option where you can make it not look for the UMTS network and have it just stay on the GSM network and it helps extend battery life - Does anyone out there know if you can do that with the LG CU500 - Battery life isn't what I had hoped for. thanks

the cases are magnesium including the back cover- also it has a huge battery compared to the Q or any other pda

i was trolling around and just saw this - you need to pull your cover off and make sure the three earpiece holes are actually all holes - many of the factory and most of the aftermarket ones only have one or maybe two of the holes drilled through - i used and tiny drill bit and completed mine when a friend told me about this oddity

yeah the Cingular/Nokia issue is with more than just the 6682 - the audiovox smt-5600 is one also - as earlier stated their is not an ETR on this either

i got the one from dr sourcing and kept the oem keypad - used an xacto knife to trim circle by round toggle key and drilled tiny holes in top so volume is excellent - looks great and no problems - also thanks to this thread for heads up on how to remove old cover etc.. phone is awesome

there are a few sim restrictions such as Nokia 1100 - Mot T-720 etc that come to mind but these are few and far in between- Cingular tier 2 techs can tell you which will not work with the 64k but almost every gsm phone will(as long as it supports 850mhz).
