have you ever heard a phone w/ stereo speakers? Do you enjoy hi rez screens inside and out? What about taking great pictures? The phone I'm sure does way more. If you answered yes to all of the abouve then this phone is worth the wait

I don't think cdma phones use sim cards. They you another format can't think of it at the moment. Somethin like rs-mmc...hell I don't know

meaning you can't take the card out or put it in w/ phone on. Usb is hot swappable that should give you an idea

I think it might just have an expansion slot. Not to many devices come w/ 256 or even 1gb onboard, especially cell phones. look under the batter for the expansion slot. If it is under the batter that must mean the cards are not hot swappable...shady

Most likely won't happen. That would only further delay the release of the phone by months. VZW would have to test it all over again for the start. So unfortunatly this phone will not have BT

Wouldn't it be in VZW's infocenter weeks before release? Wouldn't VZW employees be stating that it is in the infocenter? And final, woulnd't they have some accessories in for it? Sorry to be an ass I just saw you thread title and thought you were starting rumors reminiscent of the v710

I am going to take an educated guess and say that since the 8000 has a status light, unlike the 7000, it will not have the colorful led's of the 7000. Just a guess...have to wait and see

That is kind of disappointing! If you can't zoom in like on the Korean version that must mean alot of the stuff featured on the LP3000 will not be on the VX8000. What a shame

Does it have most of the features that its korean conterpart has? Taking pics and then zooming in on the already taken picture? I posted some videos of it a while back. I am just wondering if VZW disabled all those cool features

It's a hi end phone and the 7000 is mid range. While I understand and agree w/ what you say Verizon's strategy may be to release it around the 20th, not as competition but as a hi end phone that costs alot of money. I know I won't be buying it until my cotract is up in Feb

To tell you the truth you can actually put 800x600 pics as your background and they will fit! The upside is that you don't have to mess w/ resizing but the downsides are filesize and it may crop a little.

qpst my friend you can't do it unless you email yourself a gif and then overwrite it w/ another gif using bitpim. If you could some how find qpst then you will be able to write new gif filez to the phone

Quallcomm or however you spell it has a service program called qpst download that and you will be able to write gifs to phone instead of overwriting gifs emailed to you..this is the only advantage I can see over bitpim...for god sake the prog even recognizes your ESN and phone model...wierd

I imagine that since the V710 is xtrememly price that the 8000 will be just as expensive if not more. Looks like that even after the 8000 comes out I will be waiting a while for the price to drop :(
