Charging,Gif,Pics?
Couple Questions I could use some help on.
I charge my phone every night for just in case situations. Is overcharging bad?
I hear alot of talk about Gifs. How can I get one on my phone? Do i need a cable? or is this something I have to pay for? Is there anything free I can get...ringtones? pics?
Does it charge money or airtime when i am searching mytonz..ect?
thanks in advance.

Well overchargings not really considered bad becauase the IC chip prevents it. i charge my cell for the whole night. some people say its pretty good to charge your cell, then let it die all the way, and then charge it fully again. To get a GIF on your phone, you should prob get a cable. verizon sells theirs for $40. Once you get that cable, you can get ringtones and pics all for free. Yes it does charge airtime when searching mytonz modtonez etc.
if im wrong, someone say something.

You is right, man! To send pictures or ringtones to your phone via email, it costs $.25 per I think unless you have a package deal. Talk to your CSR about that stuff. I'm not sure if the software is completely bullet proof for sending that stuff via cable yet (according to this board and HoFo its not pure yet). I doubt VZW is too keen on you being able to up/down load pictures, etc. as that takes away from their revenue. Bon chance, mon ami! 😁

Can an animated gif be sent to the phone by email???
If not, how do you use Bitpim to transfer the animated gif???
...
qpst my friend you can't do it unless you email yourself a gif and then overwrite it w/ another gif using bitpim. If you could some how find qpst then you will be able to write new gif filez to the phone

Yes, they can. I've emailed an animated gif of the Matrix and Calvin & Hobbs. However, I think it drains the battery a lot faster so I stopped using them. 😕
