Versed said: Apple has nothing to do with it. But you can buy if you're willing to spend, Unbranded backflips, or like me, and get a Nexus One. And yeah its a more expensive option. AT&T and Apple are in bed together and AT&T can't afford to do anything to piss Apple off right now honestly. Apple is ruthless. There can't be a better explanation unless AT&T is claiming that it's "protecting" it's users which I feel is complete ...

InnocentEd said: How is this different than any other partnership in any technology business? You know for a FACT that either AT&T is paying Apple for exclusivity or Apple is paying AT&T not to use anything else or something along those lines. Google is creating partnerships.... You don't think Microsoft is going to try to do the same things? You don't think Apple is/will continue to have similar practices? Please ding ding ding! We have a winner! Payola has been around since the beginning ...

justcallitanight said: Yeah when a phone that doesn't exist comes out a network that hasn't even built a single 4G tower and can't even provide quaility 3G service in SF or NY...people will forget all about WiMax... Really bro? I know that but I meant when it does come out. It's not my fault people love the iPhone. They don't really care about overly pretentious claims of how bad AT&T's network is either. AT&T may have their issues but it's not as ...

MobDragon said: :o Its incredible... every time T-mobile have a good handset another carrier smash it. HTC HD2 vs HTC Evo 4G. The other shame is the network. Here in Puerto Rico T-mobile still frozen in EDGE. A local puertorrican carrier "Open mobile" already launched its own 3g network. Im withh Tmo, I wanna cry! It's the nature of the business. When the LTE iPhone is released, nobody will care or even remember Sprint or their Wimax.

It could work on MetroPCS's network though if flashed using their MetroFLASH at one of their stores. Whether or not picture messaging and internet would work would be questionable but voice and text would definitely work.

Why did Sprint stop deploying it anyway? Wasn't it supposed to deliver close to CDMA 1x speeds? It's slow but at least it's better than regular iDEN data speeds. If Sprint insists on keeping iDEN they could at the very least reinstate WiDEN. .

G1, MyTouch, Cliq and Eris??? Waaaa waaa waaaa. I could hear the crybabies now. They got a point though. That's what I hate about the Android platform. At least with an iPhone you're not left in the dark when a new version of the OS rolls out.

Nobodey said: Apparently no one here has had Clearwire wireless internet or else people would not be so hyped about it. Just curious, will this mean TMobile will start having 700 dollar EFT's also? To learn more: Broadband.com I'm more concerned about the 2.5ghz frequency Clear operates on. It's not particularly good for indoor building penetration.

AndroidRules said: It's not about being a "hater". You can't argue with facts. People are naturally curious about something that's "new". All because Sprint has so-called "4G" at the moment doesn't mean that they will be better at it, let alone even successful. At the moment it's simply a novelty because they're the "first" and suckers like you are falling for it. It's called early adopter syndrome. You know what, Sprint had a lot of firsts. First camera phone ...
