I couldn't think of a more misleading title. They don't list proper specs on kyoceras site. We don't even have 8GB of memory or know if this keeps jacks/micro/led/4 mics

While I definitely give Carl and the designers and developers credit for this kind of notification firewall I can’t get behind the phone 2 because they are not building from the bottom up they are trying to build from the middle out. It’s missing what in my view is the most important thing. Environmental sensors for environment teardown. Many of these sensors not only have their own purpose but aid other features; complement OTHER features and application(s). Not ...

No barometer, no bottom RGB LED notification light? No microSD?

Re: Trouble. Verizon UNlaunches

in the Kyocera DuraForce Ultra 5G forum

Just a vote of support here - I'm having both of these same issues (non-responsive screen, and screen going wild with its own touches). I decided to go check the Verizon page to read other reviews and found it to be taken down...very interesting. I like the phone a lot otherwise and haven't called Verizon or Kyocera, but am hoping that they are aware of the issues and working on a fix. Hopefully one of these mornings I'll wake ...

Re: wow ! - Both of you are idiots. T-Mo is the worst of the worst.
Feb 27, 2015, 9:34 AM
in the Article: Ting Delivers On Promise to Add GSM Support forum

T-Mo is far far from the lesser of the 3 evils. If anything sprint is the least of the three evils. Sprint still uses the highest available sound codecs by default on their network. And T-Mo is the only carrier that still has restrictions on controlled accounts!

Other than NFC not a single useful sensor. Do yourself a favor get a CA-201L (j) instead.

This thing while it may look nice to some extremists it doesn't have any sensors that are currently in newer phones out and is bulky as ****. If i wanted something like this i would buy a sheepphone and a lunatik tactik case. Don't let this company fool you. They hyped this device up royally. And i'm a little disappointed phonescoop would even do a review on it. Unless you are a alaskan rock climbing motocross driver this is a complete ...

Avoid upgrading ! stick with 5.0 / 5.0.1
Sep 20, 2012, 7:23 AM
in the Article: iOS 6 Now Available for iPhone, iPad, iPod forum

There are no big reasons to upgrade unless you are in desperate need of passbook or statustint/dnd. Everything else is just not worth the upgrade. Plus if you're on anything other than a iPhone 5 your speed will decrease slightly as well. iOS6 is much ado about nothin!

Dont be a data hog: Please checkout We-Fi Beta on android and AW-Open on iOS

If you use a lot of data please use a Wi-Fi auto connecting application like WeFi for android or AW-Open for iOS. There are 2 versions of We-Fi, We-Fi pro and We-Fi pro beta. I recommend WeFi pro beta for those of you who have a small battery capacity. I also have tasker version 1.09 setup so that when i turn my bluetooth headset on all of my radios follow suite. Haven't found a way to do this on iOS exactly like ...

The writing is really on the wall with this one. Sprint has been conducting shady business practices (like this) and "fuzzy math" billing since it was built. Does that necessarily mean that sprint meant to produce mal content ? Absolutely. The problem is sprint is now under new leadership with dan hess at the wheel. The company has actually turned around and become pretty ethical. I don't want to get into details but I have friends that work for sprint corp. and previously for ...

My cellphone isn't a PC. It isn't a game console. It isn't a book reader. It isn't a TV nor a movie theatre. And it's only rarely a music player. So how about getting back to making smartphones that are smart enough to last even 24 hours without needing to be plugged in again? :P

LTE, Four Cores, HD Display.. and 10 minutes battery life?
Feb 26, 2012, 7:02 PM

 The march of technology is great, SRSLY. Cellphone marketing has turned into the same b***s*** we see with PCs. I have a Samsung Galaxy S2, and it works great but it can't even last a whole day without recharging, and that's worse than my Nexus One.. which in turn was MILES worse than my Nokia N80 was before it which could still last 3 days on a charge. What kind of battery life do you think this monstrosity will have ...

in the Article: Apple Still 'Investigating' iOS 5.0.1 Battery Issue forum

I'm not saying this is true or not. But it has been floating around that there is some speculation the cause on some iPhone 4S's might be the proximity sensor being constantly polled. Interestingly enough the issues with power don't even end at the battery. There have also been reported issues with charging times. Both before and after the update. Personally i think that if this problem isn't fixed soon we might see government intervention eventually and apple would have dug their own ...

So, uhhh... where's the Galaxy SII info page, or any acknowledgement of its existence? I was excitedly waiting a Google Music service, but the lack of a download feature is a real negative for me. Am I looking to share my music to pirate it? No, not at all.
