Re: It sure does
Sprint = ROAMING = i don't care. cuz with sprint there everything plan you get free ROAMING. do a comparing list with comparable features, Sprint is still about 20 to 30 dollars cheaper than Verizon and AT&T a month and we can roam for free. that's 480 to 720 contract dollar savings.
Re: It sure does
profitable yes, raping yes, nickel and diming for every single feature most definitely yes. need not to say more.
Re: Could see this coming but....
where are u getting this info from. last time i check as of October 2011. Sprint reported liquidity of $5.3 billion at the end of the second quarter, including $4.3 billion in cash and $900 million of borrowing capacity under its revolving credit facility.
Re: boo
the only argument you may have here is the talk and web at the same time. Half the speed sincerely doubtful, but I will say yes its faster. What about data deoendability ? Sprint has the more dependable network, more spectrum than at&t to handle the load , oh and I forget unlimited data and cheaper plans. But you can tout all you want, sprint will welcome you will open arms when you leave at&t for the sprint IPhone
.
Re: The greatest risk is not ever taking one...
thank you , finally someone with a real vision
Re: AT&T has terrible satisfaction ratings

Re: Not even the iPhone can save Sprint

Re: ATT is on right track
right! you keep telling yourself that.
Re: OR...
thank you... :D
Re: [insert sprint has been trying to replace iden for 10 years joke here]
has nothing to do with IDEN performance, it has to do with spectrum... IDEN is just a technology used... Spectrum can be used for anything depending on the band it can be GSM, CDMA, LTE. this is HUGE for Sprint and its part of there new Vision project to get that 800 spectrum working for there cdma network, at 800 mhz that's excellent building penetration and super fast data speeds.. smart move by Sprint.
Re: Sprint 4g Sucks
you try and put a multi billion dollar project in a short time! why do you think its done gradually. Rome wasn't built in 7 days ya know. 4G is still in its baby stage, don't expect any real coverage till 2013-14 if not later.
Re: Well, that's...
ok so u have free GPS navigation with android, thank google for that, i said identical plans. what if u had a windows device a palm device or a blackberry? not everyone owns or wants android. do the math identical plans with the premium data charge its about 20 bucks more with Verizon. i will admit Verizon does have better coverage in the mountains but ho many times are we there. but anyways the bottom line is go with ...
Re: Well, that's...
can i ask u a question? lets say u have a smart phone, and u pay 30 dollars for data. I would consider that a premium service, would it be fair at least to throw in GPS and texting unlimited for paying a hefty amount. Sprint does, u get unlimited texting and unlimited data and GPS on there plans where u have to pay extra for those perks on Verizon. your comment just tells me you are just as ...
Re: Well, that's...
yeah but u forget that Sprint has agreements with Verizon to Roam 100% on there networm when needed. So where ever u get service with Verizon u get with Sprint. Your answer is a typical Verizon response. Oh we got the coverage so we can pay the extra money, Wrong you don't. And i am proof of it being an EX Verizon customer with the same mentality as yours.
Re: Damm That sucks!
even with the 10 premium data plan, UMMM Sprint is still about 20$ cheaper a month compared to a identical plan to Verizon, that comes down to hmmm 20 x 20 months = 400$ cheaper per your new 20 month hold. and if u don't have the premium data plan ur savings well you can figure that out.
Re: i wish google would remove those garbages!!
If you don't like it don't use it and buy a GPS. Its a free app and a free service. Don't expect to get all the bells and whistles when its FREE.
Re: The question I have is...
just to fill you in, Sprint has 4 times the amount of spectrum that Verizon has. So when they decide to roll out more data they have the Spectrum set already for it.
Re: Former IPCS tshareholders to sue Sprint...
Yup, Take that Bitch!!!!
Re: Cool, but may be a bit confusing...
the 49.1 million is including boost, not virgin mobile. After the acquisition tack on another 5 million please.
Re: lol
LOL on people who rip off others. sure the people didn't read the fine print, but it still hasn't stopped verizon for nickel and diming there customers, you deserve what u get verizon.
Re: Multitasking question...
Yup all i have to say is THE PRE IS KING!!!!!
Re: This is incredible
100mb for 130$ and 220$ for 200mb for international access!! what are they kidding! you can go threw 200mb in a few hours with a netbook.. talk about rip offs.

Re: I still like the Pre better
you must be a verizon fanboy.
Re: Verizon Wireless!
i know i am picking one up :D
Re: Poor Sprint....
if i am not mistaken doesn't Nextel's IDEN run on the 800 band frequency? and verizon's cdma above that? why would it make more sense to use a higher frequency band for emergencies?
Re: Poor Sprint....
gotta love those fanboys.
Re: where are you saving???
ok i read it wromg my appologies, when your sick as a dog you can mis read things. it does sound good...
Re: where are you saving???
again where are you saving, take for instance the sprint texting plan starts at 69.99 compared to verizons 79.99... and on the family shared with texting sprints is 99.99 with 1500 minutes compared to 119.99 to verizons 1400 minutes. sure adding 5 people is great but text plans are unlimited to any carrier these days so i rather go with the savings.
where are you saving???
the plans sounds nice that your capable to add people to your family plan, but where are the savings.. you need at least a 60 dollar 900 minute individual plan or a shared 1400 min 80 dollar plan. and thats with out texting plan SMS and MMS and no mobile web.. once you add those options the plan get ridiculously expensive..
Re: So for 111.72 a month
compared to boost mobile unlimited everything for 50 bucks, this is a joke for real.

I got this report from Phonearena.com and this was published on January 31st. This is good material because verizon is giving less on their rebates and getting rid of their 30 return policy. Now we do something better than Verizon. Pass the word on. DOWN WITH BIG RED.
Those who want to take full advantage of the largess at Verizon Wireless need to open an account very soon because huge ...

1) Media net is for dumbphones. Email and web for att is still 30. You can get unlimited data on dumphones for verizon for 10 as well. Both plans require unlimited texting (20 a month single, 30 a month family). it is called the Connect plan
2) Verizon offers free calling at anytime to 80 million customers nationwide. Rollover and early nights are kind of pointless if all your calls are included anyway. ...

For example, let's have the phone be a BB Curve, and the rate plan be 450 minutes with unlimited text, unlimited data, and navigation.
Sprint everything 450 = 69.99 per month
450 minutes = included
unlimited text = included
unlimited data = included
navigation = included
Verizon
450 minutes = 39.99
5000 texts (no unlimited) = 20.00
BB personal data = 29.99
VZ Navigator = 9.99
Total for Verizon = 99.97 (+29.98 from Sprint)
AT&T
450 minutes w/ rollover = 39.99
unlimited text = 20.00
BB personal data = 30.00
AT&T Navigator = ...
i dont think it will last
Good idea but i dont think it will last, why IMO its expensive. The majority of cell phone owners are the Average joe workers and the average price plane is 50 to 100 bucks including fees and taxes, and thats just call plans lets not go into data, blackberry or PDA plans. So to tack on an additional 20 to 50 bucks on top of that i dont see the average joe coughing up that much change.
