Not sure if anyone noticed this, or even if it was already brought up, but the in calling network (verizon to verizon calls) coverage has changed. Its the whole American's Choice Map now.

Verizon by far is the best coverage here in DC. I've lived here for about 3 years and have had about every single cell provider your can think of to include, sprint, att, cing, nextel. Verizon will work in the Metro, which is a huge plus if you plan on using it. Sprint will too, but you have to pay to roam on verizons towers (it's only like 5 bucks a month) Many of my ...

v60s is the loudest of the three, then the Slider and last the LG. the Slider does get pretty loud I think just go to the store and try it. I like the Slider over all three as far a speaker phone due to the over all size of the phone the 60s is just to thick. I'm impressed with the slider I can hold a call in my house which I've not been able to ...

Your LG is still under its one year warranty. All you have to do is complain about your phone such as call quality, drop calls, the phone shutting off randomly, basically stuff they can't really prove its doing or its not doing and then they will offer to replace your phone with the same model (because its under warranty) well here is where your in luck. They don't make that model phone anymore. they make the LG 4400B ...

The Slider looks blue on the website. I have the phone and it is silver. In case anyone was wondering. Not sure what they are posting on the web also it doesn't even have the verizon logo on it. It must be a standard pic or something

If there is a rebate I'll just go to the store and get it. They match the price within 30 days. At least they have for me in the past.

I traded in my vox 8900 for the slider I just spoke with the manger and he hooked it up for me. My 8900 what haveing issues though of course I made up a few problems, but I got the phone today and think its pretty nice really like the speakerphone nice and loud alot better than the 8900

I've picked it up this morning I like the phone the speakerphone is great nice and loud. 99.00 with a 2 year contract no rebates. So far great phone.

Yes here in the D.C. area I spoke to the manager he stated that they had them and they where selling them today March 9th. I'm trading my 8900 in for this phone. I've had it since it came out and have had nothing but problems with it. I couldn't believe how easy it was they are crediting me 177.00 toward the slider. Sweet deal if you ask me.

Just wondering if anyone could give me input on how verizon coverage is in the Colorado Spring area. I'm getting ready to be stationed there so I'm just curious. The map that verizon has looks like its going to be good, but I would like to see what experience people who have been there or live there can tell me. Thanks

the v60s is 19.99 at zip 80901, but at zip 22152 its 99.99 what is up with that? i'm living at zip 22152 but am moving soon to 80901 is there a way to order the phone at the 80901 zip?

I called a couple of local vz stores no one new anything about it. Also called 1800 2 join in they stated they didn't know when it was going to be released. I have the same prob. I bought a 3 watt signal booster from JDTeck. It works great. My signal went from one bar at best to Full. I can make and receive crystal clear calls, granted I'm not as moblie now because I have a wire hooked up to the external antenna of my phone, but at least I can make and receive calls. If its a option for you I can give more info ...

for the caller id to work you must enter the phone number like this the whole number 1-555-555-5555 I think that will fix your prob.

thanks for the response. so no idea when it may come out then i take it. i saw us cellular was going to carry it. does verizon program other cell phone companies phones so that they can be used on its network
