Same is true for the Moto g5 plus. No wifi calling, no volte or video calling on att. It's time for att to get there act together on non att branded phones.

They should of never let these Intel units out until Intel resolved this issue. If they couldn't resolve, no deal. Network performance should be top priority for these manufactures on all fronts.

yes, but it would be much easier to just tap your phone. Like Android/Apple pay. Why the crap are they wanting to destroy the mobile payment system like this? Just make it simple! This is stupid. Lets have every major chain come up with their own payment app so we can have 10 different ones to keep up with. OR hey, lets all settle on 1 and make it easy!

All of these companies would quit worrying about how fast you can download a movie and add more towers. I would much rather have a good 4G signal everywhere that provides at least 5 - 10 Mbs. Why in the H#($ does anyone need that much speed??? I know its good they have capacity, but we need more coverage!

A Verizon LTE only phone would have no service half the time because their towers are spaced too far apart.

This is absurd. First Network Vision, then the whole "network modernization" project and now this? Wont relocating sites cause many service disruptions? didnt they learn any lessons from the rip and replace they went through a few years back? These guys are clueless on network engineering. They keep making all the wrong decisions and losing customers in the process. Still no VoLTE plans? I would hate to own stock in this company. ...

Come on verizon!
Verizon needs this more than any carrier! They space their cells so far apart that in many cases you get 3G or 1X inside (in norther georgia anyway). AT&T has a site on every corner here. I dont understand how Verizon wins so many network awards when i cant get LTE indoors in many areas.

Where does it say that t mobile can only bid up to 30mhz? The 30 is only reserved for smaller carriers, does not say it couldn't bid on more.

I just realized that you can have hotspot and you can use a prepaid sim in any Verizon phone. Why not then?

Does anyone know the downside of going prepaid? I know the phone selection is limited and no hotspot or roaming, but seems like Verizon would be cannibalizing its own postpaid subs. $45 for unlimited t/t and 2 GB data, that is a fair deal.
Just curious if i am missing something about prepaid that makes it less appealing.

Has anyone tested VoLTE on the iPhone 6? Im curious as when the LTE singnal degrades how is voice quality maintained? Also, if the other caller does not have VoLTE phone, can you still use data while on a call? In other words, do you still use VoLTE even if the other caller does not?

When i try to bill google play apps to Verizon bill it does not give me the option. If it does, it gives me an error can't connect to server. Any body else having this problem?

This has nothing to do with calls. Only data speed. If you live in an area with good 4g lte coverage it will not happen very often. And if it does, 3g speeds are not that bad. I don't have that issue very often maybe once every other week. Its the same as going from at&t lte to wcdma without hspa+. Its not good for US meaning us (T-Mobile). Why didnt T- Mobile try to buy the spectrum? The AT&T-Mobile company would only have made ONE company better. Thats no different than Verizon trying to make itself better prepared for the future. Besides, the AWS spectrum Verizon has been sitting on is mainly on the East Coast. The new spectrum will allow them nationwide AWS covarage. That way they can acctually use it the same ...

You wont notice any speed difference because of a frequency difference that small. The largest difference in speed is determined by how much of the 800/900 MHz Sprint will use for LTE. They need at least 10 MHz channels up and down to compete with VZW/AT&T, and a good backhaul link. Sprints 1900 MHz LTE will not be as quick because they are using 5X5 channels. Northern Georgia. I have a Verizon phone as well and drop calls where ATT, Sprint and T-mobile have good service. All im saying is that the big wireless companies need to take care of the basics first.
