you can always try it out all cingular store in my region balt/wash give you fifteen days, as a salesman myself ive seen plenty of t226 come in for warrenty repairs and such, most people that activate with it complain about the phone, but i must say that calls on the x427 is much clearer, and the echo thing is a carrier problem that has a little to do with the volume of the phone and the signal.

weve been told where fazing out the t720 and swithing to a v200, im trying to find out if any other market currently has this phone and what features it might have? also ive heard we should have the v600 soon, a few att customers have said theres been problems with this phones reception and bluetooth feats, anyone know if that just att our a phone prob.

id say the samsung x427 also, the t226 is really for people who dont use the phone alot, but the samsung has great call clarity, loud ringtones, great talk time, and wont hurt you pockets.

since your coming from nextel w/ the i90 id say the v600 also your used to it already menu we be very simular, same adapeters maybe even the same holster, although both have good battery life, the v6 has afew other feature the sony doesnt like video recording and speaker, to name a few .

most likely it wont first the danger sidekick is locked to tmobile service only then in some areas cingulars gsm is 850mz the sidekick is 900/1800 so you wouldnt even be able to get a signal. currently if you market is 850 your stuck to cingular phones or true quad band phones like the v400, v600 etc.

the new motorola mpx, 3gsm phone is going to replace the accompli, the two/phone that started it all, but i am curious about those new pictures gonna have to check back for that

as far as i can tell if ur sending mms to someone with a different carrier u have to use that phones email address, and that person have to have mms on their account i have yet to try tmobile to tmobile
Number portablity not as hard as it seems
in the wash/balt area all carries have to be ready nov 24th cingular will let you take your number over regadless of if your account is current, suspended, or still under contract (you will pay early termination fee if under contract) even prepaid and home numbers can carry over. theres not much detail on eligiblity, just that the FCC has told all carriers to make the trans smooth as possible. the downside it will take some time for the ...

GSM 900/1800/1900 phone actually does work but data with data problems it will just say cingular extended no voice mail indicator worse service but u can get signal

my bad i meant triband none 850 like tmobile phone for instance on cingulars network youll have reception problems and problems with voice and data. Cingular sent us and email today saying they have roamer agreements overseas but that it may be LIMITED i thought it was kind of funny it seemed like there trying to stress that point.

yeah but gsm has been 900 1800/1900 for years and is so still in older sbc markets it just a bigger disadvantge to customers relocating say from north carolina, or cali to washington dc and yes there are quad banned phones but there wont be that many. and though it may have much to do with roamer agreements and such cingulars gsm needs all the help it can get reception wise because we still have customers with analog bag ...

well im not saying there no good, i just expected better of cingular, wireless world is big competiton and working for cingular for about 5 years ive just always wanted them to step up there game, people complain all the time were the only company that cant give a customer numbers from out of state and until gsm, (two years later than att) always behind in phones.

yah and that just it though cingular is the only carrier using 850 so it means manufacturers have make other handsets which is going to limit the product available.

now thats what I'm talking about, I'm not looking for new ring tones, i want real features i could care less about a radio or real sound i want bluetooth, full xhtml.html expandable memory. and most of all signal and that the one main thing 850 wont give me, even within the local calling area there way to many carriers of gsm here now for us not to have roamer agreements and better features. it just hard for me ...

thats the thing tho cingulars customers dont know about (the ones that have been around for a long time) i sell cingular, but i left there serivce along time ago for tmoble, no more billing issues cust service 24hrs that know what there talking about.

your phone has to be unlocked or else it will only work with and att sim card you'll have to get the code from att or find someone with ericsson unlocking codes.

no way, first becuase theres no way for the carrier to keep track of what phone you use once you go gsm, and cingular international roaming was dependent on getting a signal outside of the country only mexico and a few others still have tdma, cingular went gsm to offer customers wider phone choices before maybe a year ago the only markets of cingulars that were gsm were california and north carolina all i want is a windows powered ...

6200 is a hot phone, i sell cingular, but have tmobile and its better than my 6610,with its voice act. and edge. voice memo i have the camera and stereo headset, i just wish every attachement wasnt in the form of a headset, though ive heard there making a fun camera for the phone that will just stand alone

where the only carrier that uses it, right now in the washington/baltimore area cingular only has two triband phones the 6200 and t616 and accouding to brochures well have international roaming by nov 3rd, but if you put a 900/1800 unlocked phone on or system you going to have problems with voice mail, and things like that. they choose the easy way out i think, it limits you to certain phone if you want all of your ...

my only beef with the 3650 is w/there bluetooth there no way to copy from the phone to the sim all at once, you have to do it one by one, i had a cust that switched phones because of a problem with the equipment, and had to take 200 nums one by one from phone to sim using two phones, i do like the new keypad layout thought

yah i agree i work for cingular, seen the memos, and its going to be hell espcially the first day of release, and customer are buzzing about it already some know the dates, we have training on it next week so im hoping this will help but i know some people are going to be disappointed, becuase it would only make since that you have to be a long time customer, with good history.
