Re: Football vs. American Idol
hmmm - with American Idol, the only things I enjoy are the audition shows. It is hilarious to hear some people that think they know how to sing. I remember one a couple years ago that had such terrible technique that I could only say "more scoops than raisin bran". So I would say unlike the NFL, preseason is entertaining.

I have always been Fredd, never was anything else.
Re: I hate drivers who won't share the road
There are many forms of taxes, and gas taxes are not the sole funding for our road systems. I believe that if you check your state laws, you will find that bikes do indeed have rights to the road.
Re: I'm back!
Welcome back! Glad to see you. If I remember, besides the biking that was mentioned elsewhere, you also were a hash house runner. Still doing that? I will warn that the forum has changed drastically with many of the old users gone elsewehere. Hopefully some others such as yourself will return and reinvigorate this place.
Re: One Day,
The service crew member was confused - was that hair lip (sorta like a mustache) or a harelip? Anyways, he also thought that Billy said pistol, not pesto, and called store security.

Re: Question about unlimited data
I presume you mean data speed reduction (aka throttling). For customers with a 4G LTE smartphone, who still have an unlimited data plan, data speeds reduce if usage is 5GB or more in a billing cycle. Speeds return to normal at the start of the next billing cycle.
Re: Curious what phone you Like Nokia or motorola?
Yes, AT&T carries the Motorola X, which is an Android-based device. However, original post asked about the Motorola Droid, which is another carrier.'s device.
Re: BlackBerry Bold 9900
That is because of inventory issues. We have been advised that a world-wide component shortage is "constraining Blackberry’s ability to supply all partner carriers". This may be worth investigating further.
BlackBerry Bold 9900
Hi, guys! I see that your page for the BlackBerry Bold 9900 shows it as discontinued with T-Mobile and AT&T. http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p= 3289 What is your source for that status? Curious as it is showing as active in AT&T.

Re: And it begins
I am not sensing the mania that accompanied the iPhone 5 release last year. There has been very little activity asking for the new version. Perhaps the market perception is that this is not a significant change?
Re: Nestle and Hershey
Kit Kat is a chocolate-covered wafer biscuit bar confection that was created by Rowntree's of York, England, and is now produced worldwide by Nestlé, which acquired Rowntree in 1988, except in the United States where it is made under license by The Hershey Company. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kit_Kat
Tell me about it! The annual Fleecing of the iSheep is soon to begin!
Black iPhone 4 out of stock
The black iPhone 4 is out of stock and off the AT&T equipment grid. First indication of a new iPhone revision coming in September?
Re: If you are selling smartphones to old fogies
Now wait a freekin minute! Not all of us old fogies are incapable of using a smartphone!
Re: which is the best?
Peobably the old rotary phone the family had back in the early 1960's. Flawless connection!

1. What is your favorite word? Melisma. Especially when associated with Mozart or Brahms! 2. What is your least favorite word? "Actually" - one of the most improperly used and overused words I know of. 3. What turns you on? The beauty within a person. Respect and receptiveness for the needs of others. And soft caresses almost anywhere on the body. 4. What turns you off? Rude and self-centered people. 5. What sound do you love? The sound of birds chirping ...
Re: I hate Phoenix
It is at times a blessing and a curse. It is a major leap forward from prior systems. My biggest problem is when data features available in PHX do not populate in Rate Plan Viewer making it difficult to be sure you are mirroring prior data plan as closely as possible.
Re: I hate Phoenix
City or the system? If the latter, it is one hell of a damn stretch better than the days of IWOF!
Re: Pre-orders for the Blackberry z10 is on!!!!
Better than I have had. Ordered one, makes 0.26% of my MTD orders!
Re: adding language
The Pantech Ease also supports Spanish, but otherwise you are correct. Recommend checking specs on phones next time.

Re: Lawsuit claims Apple sold iPhone 4 with bad on-off button
I suspect that many mistake the Home button (at the bottom of the screen) with the power button (on the top of the device).
If you could throw any fruit at someones face, which would it be? A Banana (am reminded of the Monty Python skit "Self Defence Against Fresh Fruit") Would you rather fight an increasingly difficult series of animated chocolate bunnies -OR- a naked guy who isn't in the best shape and likes to wrestle? Guess I would go with the bunnies 'cuz I ain't wrasslin' no nekkid guy! Chicken or fish? Yes, I had the lasagna (thanks to Leslie Nielsen & ...

Re: Spectrum. . .
Spectrum may be similar, but technology is significantly different. TMO is 3G, Metro PCS is CDMA. There will be significant device incompatibility for a while, with a conversion project on the horizon!
Seems in line for no contract price. HTC One is $649.99 for 64GB, $599.99 for 32GB. I think the Galaxy SIII was similarly priced prior to recent changes.
True, I missed that. But I guess the errors are forgivable if she does indeed have Tourette's Syndrome!
It is properly spelled "Tourette"
Re: They should buy US Cellular already
US Cellular is the sixth largest wireless network in the United States.. They serve about 5.8 million customers in 126 markets in 26 U.S. states - California, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia and Wisconsin. That is much more than just midwest.
Re: They should buy US Cellular already
It was actually quite similar, as AT&T was looking to buy only T-Mobile US. T-Mobile US is not a global company. It is the US subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom, which uses T-Mobile as their global brand.
Re: Seems legit.
Some people love Christmas, some love New Years. Many have the 4th of July as their favorite day of the year. For me, it is rapidly becoming April 1st!
Kudos on a great April Fools page!
Just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate your humor every yeat. This was an especially good one, with the pointed barb at mismanagement - " after HP bought Palm in 2010, mismanaged it entirely, and ran it into the ground." Truth can be very funny!
Glad you got it fixed! Those subscriptions can be a pain. If you want to be sure to avoid that in the future, you can have a Purchase Block code added to the line.
Have her report it to firstname.lastname@example.org. There are several ways that these subscriptions get crammed on to the line. There are shady web sites out there that automatically subscribe you to a service just by submitting your sell phone number. As always, READ THE SMALL PRINT!
