this phone has the best constructed body/shell period

I was at a restaurant with a friend and told him I was a secret agent...

He was like whatever, so I said "if i am lying then why do have a military grade phone"

he was like "what makes that thing military grade?"

I asked the waiter for a glass of an ice water and dropped the phone in there.

His jaw dropped.

I told him to call me.

He did, the phone rang underwater.

He now thinks I am a secret agent!

But the only that sucks bout it is both the ear piece speaker and the speaker phone speaker... the both crack as normal sound volumes...

Btw it was doing this before I proved I was a secret agent!

I am going to return it for a V9900.

But... if casio should ever come out with a 2nd generation phone that improves on this critical weakness and adds blue tooth - I am in for the long haul with it.

Good Looking phone.. Bad performance

This phone looks great.. It is sturdy and a bit bulky.. It lacks blue tooth.. The real problem is the voice commands.. Virtually usless and very poor support. It jumps you over to the web, or to voice mail.. but rarely ever finds the name you are trying to call. Even after going through the intinsive voice training tht is built in. The phone also has a weird problem where some of the built in verbal info come through the ear piece and some over the external speaker.. very strang. I also found that Verizon at this time has little knowleged of the phone and asked me to call the manufacturer.. It is not at all user friendly. But, if you are likely to get it wet, then this is a winner. Otherwise I would say avoid it!!
After many hours of frustration I returned mine.
